I watch The great "land of opportunity" in their greatest show on earth, the race for the presidency. I've listened to them with there disillusioned thoughts about what they want to do about the immigration problems. The way I see it there would be no problem if they would learn to understand the plight of the so called immigrant. Most immigrants as they are so unlikely called, only want a better life for themselves and family. Who doesn't want a better life?
America have not reached the understanding as yet that these so called immigrants have (whether being paid under the table or using false identity to work), been contributing to our economy and it's social security system for years. These people can not collect income tax like we do and many of them will never have benefits that comes with being an American. (whatever the hell that is).
And yet the great "land of opportunity" has been telling us for years that when we retire (now at age 67) social security will not be there for us. Where the hell is it? If these immigrants put into a pot that they can not retrieve from, then where is the social security and tax that has been put in all these years? You have to understand that if they succeed in getting the immigrants out as they want then what is the resolution to initiate revenue for an already failing economy. Do you see the real issue here or do you see many people digging their own graves.
Congress is about to pass a stimulus package that does nothing for the elderly (people who have actually fought for this country). This package does nothing for the the unemployed and the already homeless of society. We have always heard when growing up that, it doesn't pay to throw good money after bad", do you know which money is good and which is bad? Have we not learned our lessons from histories failures? Must we be taught the basics one more time?
This country is one of the worst when it comes to health care, we think its bad for us, look at our elderly people. Why are they made to suffer after fighting & marching and ultimately dying for a better life for themselves and their family. Do we all not want the same things in life or does America want more? I know you can't make blood out of stone but if you put your mind to it the blood that has already been shed from the stone should be used to build a better way of life with the same cornerstone.
Just had to get some things off my chest...can u feel me?
