JUDGEMENT is a three-member roots reggae vocal group featuring heartfelt conscious lyrics along with a high-energy performance. Combining soulful singing with versatile dancehall stylings the group has recorded with a number of reggae veterans.
The group was founded in 1999 by Ras Shalom aka Sharky and I-Jah aka Eternal Fyah and was soon joined by Humbly aka Honor Rebel.
The group's debut CD was released in 2002 on Lexicon Records. Some of the songs from the CD include "President Hustling" (feaaturing the legendary Frankie Paul on backup vocals), in addition "Ethiopia Calling", "Wheh dem a try" Make it Last" which played on N.Y. radio stations WRTN and WLIB. These and other songs display a skill, knowledge and a profound awareness of political, and spritual issues in today's world.
Their first video "President Hustling" has been featured prominently on Rocker's TV hosed by "Earl Chin" along with an accompaning interview.
